BJU Press Grade 2 Math

The BJU Press Math 2, 4th Edition student text covers addition and subtraction up to three-digit numbers, place value up to 4-digit numbers, time and calendars, data, measurement, fractions, geometry, division, and more. Concepts are illustrated through pictorial representations of objects and examples are provided. Children will follow Matt and his pet Beaver as they leave Ohio to help build houses around the world, facing challenges that require math skills along the way.

The Teacher's Edition includes a chapter overview with teacher notes that explain the purpose and expectations for the chapter, a list of required materials, and a "math board" section for interactive practice techniques. Lessons are segmented, with "practice and review" activities, a "Teach for Understanding" step-by-step lesson with scripted questions (and answers), reduced-size worktext pages with answers overlaid in red, and instructions for the worktext pages.
