Positive Action Elementary Curriculum

          The Positive Action Bible curriculum helps students learn about the God of the Word, not just about the Word of God. Teaching children to seek the majesty and grace of God in everything, this curriculum aims to magnify His majesty, works, and nature, and help students look for how God reveals himself through a message that shines through context, culture, and language.

          In 3rd Grade: Growing with God, the lives of Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, and Daniel teach third graders about the rewards of living for God. Students develop strong character as they see how God worked in the lives of these men as they faced opposition but remained faithful to God.

          This student manual features 35 bright and colorful lessons (one per week for an average school year). Lessons might ask students to complete "fill-in-the-blank" questions, match answers, answer short answer questions, complete charts, do crosswords, and finish other relevant exercises. This student book is designed to contain all of a student's activities as they listen to the lessons provided in the sold-separately Grade 3 Teacher's Manual.

          A scripture memorization report chart and hymn lyrics are included for those families working through the optional music and scripture memorization segment of the program (provided in the teacher's manual).

            In 4th Grade: Building Life Castles, children will learn that as we build our lives on Christ, God will transform us into strong and beautiful monuments to His grace. They'll learn more about God by studying the life of Christ, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the ministry of the Apostle Paul.

            This student manual features 35 bright and colorful lessons (one per week for an average school year). Lessons might ask students to complete "fill-in-the-blank" questions, define vocabulary, answer short answer questions, complete charts, do crosswords, label maps, and finish other relevant exercises. Weekly quizzes are also included. This student book is designed to contain all of a student's activities as they listen to the lessons provided in the Grade 4 Teacher's Manual (not-included & sold-se parately).

            A scripture memorization report chart and hymn lyrics are included for those families working through the optional music and scripture memorization segment of the program (provided in the teacher's manual).

            The Positive Action 4th Grade: Building Life Castles teacher's manual contains all of the teaching material, as well as quizzes, answer keys, and student manual facsimiles with answers overlaid. Plenty of teacher materials help orient parents on how the course should be taught, with schedules for a 3, 4, and 5-day pace included for maximum flexibility.

            Each of the 35 easy-to-use weekly lessons has the scripture memory verse, hymn name, and chorus name at the top for the optional scripture memory and music element. These are followed by "Target Truths" objectives, and are followed by the "Teaching Strategy." A Character Trait activity or activities (parents can pick and choose which to do) along with a quiz, quiz answers, and student manual answer key (with overlaid answers) are also included.

This course surveys the Old Testament and emphasizes key people and events in God's plan for Israel. The students will be introduced to patriarchs, judges, royalty, and prophets and see God use everyday men and women to accomplish His great work.

              This student manual features 35 bright and colorful lessons (one per week for an average school year). Each lesson includes any new or unfamiliar vocabulary with definitions, a brief summary of the Bible lesson, and sections with questions and fill-in-the-blank graphic organizers. This 5th grade manual features more discussion and application activities than the younger grades; students will spend more time in workbook study than listening to stories. This manual is designed to contain all of a student's written notes for a school year as they listen to the lessons & take quizzes provided in the Grade 5 Teacher's Manual (sold-separately).
