The Weaver Curriculum Volume 1

Weaver Volume 1 features lesson plans for Bible, Social Studies, Science, Language Arts, Health, Safety, Field Trips, Vocabulary, Art, and Memory Verses (also used for Penmanship). Designed to be used in a Christian homeschool environment, Volume 1 can be used with any number of students from K through 6th grades. Color-coded grade level divisions enable the parent/teacher to measure the academic progression of each child. If you wish to use this program with students in grades 7-12, the sold-separately Weaver Curriculum Supplement Volume 1: Grades 7-12 must be used.

Wisdom Words is a sturdy grammar and writing backbone for your language arts studies. Designed to eliminate repetition, this step-by-step program helps teach language, penmanship, and composition skills using your students' own daily writing. Oral presentations are a strong focus, and the book is color-coded to correspond with other Weaver volumes. Approx. 426 pages.

The Skills Evaluation book will help you best determine your child's accomplishments during the year, showing you how your child's skills have developed. With this easy-to-use guide, you'll be able to choose the appropriate curriculum and identify areas that need improvement. 184 pages, spiralbound.

The Day-by-Day binder has been created as a flexible tool to help guide you in your academic choices. Unit Preparation sections list the number of suggested teaching days; the theme for the chapter; which pages of The Weaver you need to read before teaching; points you should know; books from the Resource Sets you will be using; supplies needed; objectives; and more. Use the schedules as given, until you're comfortable with the program, or as a guideline for your own lessons!
