Horizons Grade 4 Math

The "Horizons" math curriculum from Alpha Omega is a spiral math curriculum that helps students master concepts through an introduction, review, and reinforcement. Horizons Math Grade 4 includes 160 lessons that cover addition, greater/less than, even and odd numbers, rounding numbers, addition with carrying, estimation, division, geometry, basic algebra, measurement, mixed fractions, graphs, and more. 16 tests are also included.

The teacher's guide includes a readiness test, notes on preparing a lesson, a scope & sequence, appearance of concepts list, and development of concepts chart. Each lesson features the concept, numbered objectives, teaching tips, materials/supplies/equipment list, activities with notes on when to introduce lesson explanations and activities, and a quote. The answer key for both books is placed after the lesson notes, and features line-listed answers arranged by lesson.
