Horizons for Threes

The teacher's guide includes the instructions for teaching each lesson. Lessons include a supply list, Bible references, Bible concept, a lesson to teach, memory verse, instructions for each worksheet, and a selection of subject-specific exercises for language arts, phonics, math, music, PE, outside activities, arts & crafts, creative cooking, science, social studies, field trips, and more. Cut-out KJV flashcards are included at the back.

This curriculum is designed so that students complete four worksheets in the Student Workbook, and one lesson in the Student Workbook Companion. The perfect pathway to creating a fun learning experience, the activities in the student workbook develop age-appropriate skills to get kids ready for preschool. Each lesson corresponds to the daily Bible Story Reader selection. Through a developmental sequence of skills, the 40 lessons cover counting, tracing, matching, and sequencing, as well as recognizing letters, numbers, shapes, colors, and more.

The "Student Workbook Companion" features activities that are designed to be repeated throughout the lesson. Worksheets are printed in full-color and are clearly labeled as to what lesson they accompany.

A collection of 20 Old Testament and 20 New Testament selections, this reader includes an abridged account of the story, hand-painted illustrations, engaging questions that help children relate to the stories, and a prayer.
