Karen’s designs reflect her creative attention to detail, her sensitive touch and delightful sense of design. The inspiration for Karen’s lines comes from the beauty of everyday life, faith and the love of her family. Always aspiring to learn and grow, she is influenced by nature and the world around her. She likes to create with a connection to nature, using organic patterns and a natural color palette.

Karen lives in the suburbs of Chicago with her husband and has 2 grown daughters, both English Teachers. Karen’s mother was an amazing artist and craftswoman and was Karen’s strongest influence. Following her lead, as a child Karen loved trying new crafts including assembling model wooden ships and planes, sewing her own clothes and of course painting and drawing.
