Award winning author Suzanne Woods Fisher writes fiction and non-fiction books about faith-based communities. Suzanne was a finalist twice for the Carol Awards and a finalist for the Christy Awards. Amish Peace and Amish Proverbs were both finalists for the ECPA Book of the Year (2010, 2011). Her interest in the Amish began with her grandfather, who was raised Plain in Pennsylvania. Suzanne raises puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind, and says, "You just can’t take life too seriously when a puppy is tearing through your house with someone’s underwear in its mouth."
