Jonathan Dodson is the founder of Gospel-Centered Discipleship.com, which produces resources to help make, mature, and multiply disciples of Jesus. He has served as Theologian-in-Residence at Citizen’s Church in Plano, TX and Founding Pastor of City Life Church in Austin, TX. He is author of several books and a contributing author to the Foundation series, designed to help local churches teach all that Christ commanded.

David Zahl is the director of Mockingbird Ministries and editor-in-chief of the Mockingbird website. Born in New York City and brought up elsewhere, David graduated from Georgetown University in 2001, and then worked for several years as a youth minister in New England. In 2007 he founded Mockingbird in NYC. Today David and his wife Cate reside in Charlottesville, VA with their three boys, where David also serves on the staff of Christ Episcopal Church.

Nijay Gupta is a professor of New Testament at Northern Seminary in Chicago and the author and editor of many books including: Worship that Makes Sense to Paul, Paul and the Language of Faith, commentaries on Colossians, 1 & 2 Thessalonans, & Philippians, and his latest release The Affections of Christ Jesus. He also writes for Patheos on the Crux Sola blog and co-hosts the Slow Theology Podcast.

Michael Reeves (PhD, King’s College, London) is president and professor of theology at Union School of Theology in Bridgend and Oxford, United Kingdom. He is a local church minister, Director of the European Theologians Network, and a teaching fellow at Ligonier Ministries. Michael discusses his newest book, Preaching: A God-Centred Vision.

Dayton Hartman (PhD, North-West University – Potchefstroom, South Africa) serves as lead pastor of Redeemer Church in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. He also enjoys serving as an adjunct professor for a number of schools including Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Columbia International University, and Judson College. Dayton discusses his new book, co-written with Michael McEwen, The Pastor as Apologist: Restoring Apologetics to the Local Church.

Mike McGarry (DMin, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary) is the Founder and Director of Youth Pastor Theologian, a ministry that combats the widespread theological shallowness of youth ministry by training youth workers to think biblically about youth ministry and to teach theologically with confidence.

Dean Inserra is the founding and lead pastor of CityChurch in Tallahassee, Florida, where he leads the vision and preaching. He is currently pursuing a DMin from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has a passion to bring gospel clarity to the under-reached realm of cultural Christianity which remains prevalent in much of the American south.

Benjamin C. F. Shaw (PhD, Liberty University) is president of CORE Apologetics, a ministry that helps churches, organizations, and individuals use apologetics to equip disciples and reach skeptics. Ben has worked with Gary Habermas for 10+ years to collaborate in philosophical, historical, and theological research and publishing, including Habermas’s gargantuan On the Resurrection series.

Jeff Arthurs (PhD, Purdue University) is the Robinson Chair of Preaching and Communication, and the Director of the Haddon W. Robinson Center for Preaching at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts. Jeff came to faith in Christ in his teens out of a nominally Christian home, after which the Lord called him to preach.

A. Andrew Das (PhD, Union Theological Seminary in Virginia) is the Niebuhr Distinguished Chair and professor of religious studies at Elmhurst University. A respected Pauline scholar with, he served on the translation committee of the Christian Standard Bible, a translation he personally loves and recommends.

Bryan Murawski (PhD, Westminster Theological Seminary) is an associate professor for the School of Divinity at Cairn University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he teaches courses on Old Testament, church ministry, and homiletics. He has over 15 years of experience as a pastor in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. His book Preaching Difficult Texts of the Old Testament (Hendrickson, 2021) will soon be followed up by a New Testament version.

Coleman M. Ford (PhD, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is associate professor of humanities at Texas Baptist College. Shawn J. Wilhite (PhD, Durham University) is associate professor of New Testament at California Baptist University. They've co-written a new book published by Crossway called Ancient Wisdom for the Care of Souls: Learning the Art of Pastoral Ministry from the Church Fathers.

Matt Bennett (PhD, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary) serves as an Associate Professor of Missions and Theology at Cedarville University, and also as the Director of Long-term Ministry at RTIM. His wife, Emily Bennett, (MDiv & M.A., Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary), currently living in Ohio working with an organization that helps internationals learn English and transition to life.

Benjamin P. Laird (PhD, University of Aberdeen) is associate professor of biblical studies at Liberty University’s John W. Rawlings School of Divinity (Lynchburg, Virginia), where he has taught since 2011. Ben has served as a pastor in Scotland and in the great state of Virginia. His research focuses on the early church, the authority of the New Testament, and the letters of the Apostle Paul.
