Comer is the New York Times bestselling author of seven books, including the international bestseller The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry. His podcasts, John Mark Comer Teachings and Rule of Life, have been ranked on top religion and spirituality podcast charts in the U.S. and U.K.

He holds a master's degree in Biblical & Theological Studies from Western Seminary and served as a pastor in Portland, Oregon for nearly two decades. John Mark, along with his wife and three children, currently resides in Topanga Canyon, California where he develops new practices, courses, and podcasts for Practicing the Way Ministries.
