Nancy R. Pearcey is professor of apologetics, scholar-in-residence, and the Elizabeth and John Gibson Endowed Chair in Apologetics at Houston Christian University. A former agnostic, Pearcey was hailed in The Economist as “America’s pre-eminent evangelical Protestant female intellectual,” and was featured on the cover of Christianity Today as one of America’s top five female apologists. She is the bestselling author of seven books (including two ECPA Gold Medallion Winners), and her books have been translated into 19 languages.
