Elaine Phillips (PhD, The Dropsie College for Hebrew and Cognate Learning) is Distinguished Professor Emerita of Biblical Studies at Gordon College. Phillips taught Old Testament at Christian colleges for 41 years, during which she led innumerable 3-week trips to Israel via Jerusalem University College to educate students about the importance of understanding the historical geography of Bible lands.

Carmen Joy Imes (PhD, Wheaton College) is associate professor of Old Testament at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University. She is best known for her books Bearing God’s Name at Sinai and Being God’s Image. She is passionate about helping students and other laypeople engage the Old Testament and discover its relevance for Christian identity and mission.

Karen Jobes (PhD, Westminster Theological Seminary) is Professor of New Testament Greek and Greek Exegesis Emerita at Wheaton College. She is an expert on the Septuagint (LXX), having co-authored (with Moisés Silva) what has become the standard introductory text on the subject. She has also written commentaries on Esther, John’s Gospel, 1 Peter, and 1–3 John.

Lynn H. Cohick (PhD, University of Pennsylvania) is Distinguished Professor of New Testament and Director of Houston Theological Seminary at Houston Christian University. She is a well-respected scholar and highly sought-after speaker who has authored, co-authored, edited, or co-edited over fifty works. She has taught around the globe in countries such as Kenya, Australia, and Canada.

Adela Yarbro Collins (PhD, Harvard University) is Buckingham Professor Emerita of New Testament Criticism and Interpretation at Yale Divinity School and currently serves on the editorial board of the Hermeneia commentary series. Her research focuses on the New Testament, especially Mark’s Gospel and the book of Revelation, as well as early Christian apocalypticism and eschatology.

Jeannine K. Brown (PhD, Luther Seminary) is professor of New Testament at Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. She is a member of the NIV translation team, and she has written books on biblical hermeneutics along with commentaries on Matthew and Philippians.

Beverly Roberts Gaventa (PhD, Duke University) is Distinguished Professor of New Testament Interpretation at Baylor University and Helen H.P. Manson Professor of New Testament Literature and Exegesis Emerita at Princeton Theological Seminary. She is a leading scholar of the Apostle Paul’s theology and letters. In 2016, she served as president of the Society of Biblical Literature, the premiere learned society devoted to the critical investigation of the Bible.

Alisa Childers is a singer and songwriter who writes at alisachilders.com, an apologetics blog for doubting Christians and honest skeptics. Her eponymous podcast discusses challenging issues facing Christianity today, such as popular misconceptions about the faith and deceptive ideas that lead people astray. She features prominently in the documentary American Gospel: Christ Crucified.

Sandra L. Glahn (PhD, University of Texas at Dallas) is Professor of Media Arts and Worship at Dallas Theological Seminary, where her emphases are first-century backgrounds related to women, culture, gender, and the arts. In addition to teaching on-campus classes, Dr. Glahn teaches immersive courses in Italy and Great Britain, as well as immersive courses in writing and in worship.
