The German theologian Martin Luther posted his Ninety-Five Theses on the door of a church in Wittenberg on October 31, 1517. This became the date known as the beginning of The Reformation, a significant date in Protestant church history.

John Calvin

John Calvin (1509-1564) was an influential French theologian and pastor during the Protestant Reformation who was central to the development of reformed theology, also known as Calvinism. His systematization of Protestant thought in the Institutes of the Christian Religion is a seminal work in Christian theology that altered the course of Western history and that is still read by theological students today.

Ulrich Zwingli

Ulrich Zwingli (1484-1531) was a prominent leader of the Protestant Reformation and is regarded as the founder of Swiss Protestantistm.
