Compiled by award-winning journalist Colm Keane from the Irish faithful, this extraordinary collection of stories is crammed full of the miracles and cures attributed to the esteemed saint commonly known as Padre Pio. There are accounts of scientifically inexplicable recoveries from cancer, heart disease, and brain damage, along with revivals from blood clots, strokes, multiple sclerosis, and life-threatening viral infections. Personal testimonies from Irish pilgrims also recall trail-blazing journeys to San Giovanni Rotondo in the 1950s and 1960s, while visits by devotees to Padre Pio’s beatification in 1999 and his canonization in 2002 are vividly recounted. This detailed account documents the widespread influence of this complex and intriguing Italian saint.
Holly5 Stars Out Of 5Beautiful!!!November 25, 2010HollyQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I am soooo sad to read the review submitted by the only other reviewer. They are so confused as to what is the Body of Christ. The most Holy Bible was written (New Testament) several years after Christ was taken up to heaven. During that time, the apostles passed on much teaching of Jesus Christ, they conferred their priesthood to successors through the laying on of hands. If everything were written about Jesus the books would be volumes. Revelation comes from the Bible, no doubt about it, but also from the Sacred Tradition of the church. Where in the Holy Bible does it say that there is no other source of Divine Revelation or that it is the only source of Divine Revelation.

It's mystical alright, but not truth. My Mom used to read this and it just got her eyes off Jesus. i was not a b ook that glorified the Lord, and it is not recommended for drawing you closer to the Lord. Whatever this man experienced, only God knows for sure, but I don't think that anything that draws you away from Jesus and the true meaning of Christianity is a 'good' read, 'good' book. Therefore, I say don't read it. It's not what you need. Stick with the scripture and true love for Jesus, you don't need to go to another man to find Jesus, just go directly to Him alone. He (Jesus) is the way, truth and life, nobody else. Don't waste your money or time on this, or fall into some sort of mystical web -- instead buy yourself a good Amplified Bible and read it. It will open your eyes to the scriptures as never before and you will grow strong in the Lord Jesus. God bless you.
