I have always believed in Jesus, but was also taught that life's trials are par for the course, and Jesus just gives us comfort through it all. Comfort, yes, but even greater is the victory that comes in Jesus' name. This book explains that victory over spiritual darkness as a matter of faith in Christ, our identity in Christ, the completed work of Christ, and the power of Christ and his name with many Bible references. At the same time it does not attribute all hardships (inward or outward) as spiritual matters. Many individuals' stories are included as examples. I personally gained more faith in Jesus and his word, greater understanding, inner peace, and less fear.
