    MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

It seems like FBI Special Agent Serena Jones runs into trouble no matter where she goes. This time is at an engagement party of an old family friend, Jack Hill, on Marthas Vineyard, and she finds her friend dead. Could it be the fianc? Or one of many friends and family?

Murder Mysteries are so much fun to try and figure out, and Sandra Orchard does a fantastic job of making that difficult for readers. Serena needed help so friends Nate and Tanner just happens to show up, both helping with the investigation, but both also trying to woo Serena.

And I cant leave out Aunt Martha, whom I just love. This book is full of interesting characters, chills and thrills and enough twists and turns to keep your head spinning. But you will love this last installment in The Serena Jones Mysteries Series. I really hate to see this series end because I want to see more of Serena and Aunt Marthas adventures. And who is Aunt Martha really? And does Serena pick Nick or Tanner as a dating partner? Of course you will need to read Over Maya Dead Body to find all the answers!

After reading the first two books in the Serena Jones mystery series, I was really looking forward to this third book. Not just to read another great mystery, but to see if Serena could finally figure out that both Tanner, her FBI partner, and Nate, her somewhat mysterious apartment superintendent, had more than friendly feelings for her, and which handsome man she would choose. I was not disappointed in this book. The mystery has many suspects and twists and turns. Though the setting is Martha's Vineyard rather than her hometown of St. Louis, Tanner and Nate both fly in to help Serena solve the mystery and to keep her safe. Aunt Martha is there as well as Serena's parents. They have all gone to celebrate the engagement of Mr. Jones' longtime friend, Jack. After the mystery is solved, other secrets are revealed to Serena. The ending is most satisfactory. Though I suspect this may be the end of this series, I would welcome many more books.

Im an emotional mess right now. I really dont want to say much for spoilersif youve read this book, feel free to message mebut I did really, really enjoy this trilogy. Im also having a hard time being very vague in these final thoughts were nobody can guess (based my reactions) to who Serena picked. I dont want to spoiler that for anyone.

There were many parts I loved and parts I was so excited about being right on prior guesses. The action and plot kept me guessing on who did the crime and why. I so enjoyed this novel along with the previous two in the series and plan on reading whatever this talented author puts out next. :)

*BFCG may (Read the review to see) recommend this book by this author. It does not mean I recommend all the books by this author.

*I received this book for free from the Publisher (Revell) for this honest review.

The third book in the Serena Jones Mystery series is finally out!! I feel like I've been waiting for this book for ages. I do have a bone to pick with Sandra Orchard though... Over Maya Dead Body kept me up until 4 am last night... and now I'm dog-tired and grumpy. HOWEVER, it was totally worth it and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

I have loved the character of Serena Jones since book one, and she continues to delight and amuse with this third book. Serena is blithely naive when it comes to the men in her life. In her mind, romance can wait until she has solved the crime in front of her and most importantly, the crime of her grandfather's death. However, Nate and Tanner aren't about to wait for the world's problems to be rectified before battling it out over Serena's heart. Vastly different, the two men do their best to one-up each other in the contest for Serena's affections while trying their utmost to maintain their gentlemanly behavior (be warned, you will laugh out loud reading this book). Of course, Serena doesn't catch onto half of what's going on as her nose is to the ground chasing clues.

And if having a wonderful female lead isn't good enough there is Serena's ridiculously quirky crime-solving great aunt. She is probably my favourite character. She may be old, but with her fiery disposition and keen sense, she is a worthy sidekick for her reluctant niece.

I would highly recommend this entire series (and of course, Over Maya Dead Body) to anyone who wants a really fun, fast paced, clean, non-gory, humorous mystery.

Over Maya Dead Body is mysterious, suspenseful and so full of humor - what an incredible book that has made me so enamored with it. I cannot say abundantly clear enough how worth this book is. It is better than the other two - and no it is not a series - series - it is just the same character in the book who solves the crimes and it is wonderful . Serena, Nate and Tanner are gone from St Louis and now in another town - environment - than they are use to - yahooooo - they do a bunch of things that are amazing and yet fun/funny like Aunt Martha - lol - Ya'll you will love this book and have fun being mystified. This trio lead you around solving this mystery with so much twists and turns and bumps and bruises and fun......and so will you. I received a complimentary copy of this wonderful book from the Publisher and Netgalley; all the opinions expressed in this review are all mine.
