This book is just incredible. I love how Phil ties his personal experiences in with Biblical Truths about how important prayer is not only in his life but mine as well. If you want to learn more about how to pray or just have quiet time with Jesus then I highly suggest this book! It will change you in the best of ways! You will encounter familiar Bible characters as well as familiar Scripture passages. Each day begins with Scripture, a devotion, a prayer, prayer practice (giving you ideas on ways to pray), and reflections (ways to go deeper in your prayer journey). Some of the familiar topics to me are Prayer as Spiritual Warfare, Pray with Scripture, and Prayer as Praise and Thanksgiving. Some that challenged me are Pray with a Heart of Forgiveness, Pray for Gods Purpose, and Prayer Aligns Our Desires with Gods.

I love this book. It exceeded my expectations. This is one of those devotion books that you will want to use over and over. It will grow you and it will challenge you. Your prayer life should never be boring.
