I loved having Dr. Dixon as a professor because he makes theology and doctrine meaningful and fun. His books reflect his teaching style, taking big concepts and making them practical to your personal life. This book in particular does a fantastic job dealing with the (unpopular) reality of hell. It's a great for seminary students and laypeople alike.

This is an excellent book. Very well constructed. The author presents us the case against universalism, annihilationism and postmortem conversion. This book is a must for everyone who want to follow the teaching of Jesus on hell, with the cloud of witness from church history like Tertulian, Augustin, Aquinas, Luther, Calvin, Whitefield, Wesley, Schaeffer, CS Lewis, etc...If your not convinced about eternal punishment, please read this book. If you need help to defend eternal punishment, read this book, you will find plenty.
