No such thing as absolute truth? Christian apologist Ravi Zacharias' work is a brilliant defense of the unique truth of the Christian message. Exposing the futility of Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism, he also highlights his own journey from despair and meaninglessness to the discovery that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

The author, Ravi Zacharias, is a leading Christian apologist who has spoken around the world for the past 35 years. Jesus Among Other Gods is a defense of the uniqueness of the message of Christ. The distinct message of Jesus is compared with the teachings of Buddhism, Hinduism, and Islam. Wonderful illustrations are provided by Dr. Zacharias that show how only Jesus has the power to radically transform our sinful hearts. Read about how our Amazing God saved a 17-year-old Ravi from taking his life. Do you think religions are all fundamentally the same? What is so different about Jesus of Nazareth? If you are a skeptic or want to better equip yourself to share your faith in a postmodern world, I highly recommend this book. A youth edition is also available.
Lynne Schwank5 Stars Out Of 5Highly recommendAugust 29, 2017Lynne SchwankQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I'm a Christian reading this. My sons were 'raised' in the church, but now in their 20's have been enticed by eastern thought & spirituality...asking WHY just JESUS? They've walked away from God and are following their 'flesh' and our American culture. I'm buying this book for them. Ravi does not just give 'classic" answers...he makes you think and reason with sound debates & knowledge of other cultures. As a heart is open and a soul "thirsty" for TRUTH....God and Jesus are revealed in this book.
rkendo5 Stars Out Of 5Jesus Among Other GodsAugust 25, 2017rkendoQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I have lived as a missionary many years outside of the US. Reading some reviews I can't help but cringe at American ethnocentricity cutting and editing Ravi's excellent book. While this book is written to all, it is especially significant to the reader enculturated in eastern thought. As an American this book may not appear to flow in a meaningful way ... however ... my daughter-in-law, born and raised in China found this book to be tremendously helpful to her. Ravi reached inside her Chinese Eastern manner of thought and explained in a meaningful way to her the True Difference of Christ over other gods. Her faith in Christ and confidence in God's Word was strengthened. She is hoping to find the book in Manderin to send to her family.
I hope my review helps and opens the eyes of those who naturally assume that all people groups think as we do. This is an excellent book and I would encourage you to recommend it to those who are of Oriental or "Eastern" (as we Americans see the world) culture and influence. Thank you Ravi for reaching into my family!
Teutonic Warrior2 Stars Out Of 5What was that about?August 20, 2017Teutonic WarriorQuality: 4Value: 3Meets Expectations: 1Before I give my opinion of the book, let me say I have a high opinion of Dr. Zacharias. This review is not meant to be a slur to him. That said, the book is very disappointing. It lacks a coherent structure, and I'm not sure I know what the author was trying to say. Individual parts are okay, such as his testimony, but I failed to see how one point had any relevance to the others. And that's not all. The back cover had a misprint on it. I can overlook a single mistake in the text, but on the back cover! Overall I was disappointed.
