Tell us a little about yourself. The Shepherd's Garden is creator and home of the new Shepherd's Bible Verse Tea, located in the beautiful foothills of the Rockie Mountains in Montana.
What was your motivation behind this project? We wanted to offer a delicious tasting, and at the same time healthy and Organic tea, that pointed people to God's Word. We think we have done that with Shepherd's Tea.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? We hope folks who try Shepherd's Tea will be reminded of the treasures of God's Word.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Choosing the ingredients, then testing and tasting the tea recipes to get them just right was a challenging yet delightful experience. Our team then picked 95 Bible verses (KJV) to use on the tags. We chose verses that encouraged, comforted, exhorted, and evangelized. It was hard to narrow it to just 95 as the Bible is filled from beginning to end with meaningful, truth-filled verses.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: We have been receiving great reviews about the tea from those who have tried it thus far. Words describing the tea have been: "delicious," "unique," "smooth," "wonderful," "meaningful," and more. Cranberry Orange Rooibos is quickly becoming our most popular blend so far. We'll be adding four new blends later in 2011.
