The Oregon Trail Romance collection is a perfect fit for her, as Anns great-grandparents came west over the Oregon Trail as part of one of the last wagon trains. gwen5 Stars Out Of 5Awesome collection of short stories......December 27, 2016gwenQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I love to read about the past and the stories of going west are some of my favorites. I love to read about, how the times were back then, how they lived off the land, and had to fight the hardships along the way. I also like to read about how they settled in new territory. I really liked how most of the authors studied the times and things that happened back then, so they could share their learning's with the readers in the stories. Great buy. I really enjoyed the purchase. Thank you for a great online book store.
LanaT5 Stars Out Of 5great collection of short storiesJune 30, 2016LanaTQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0I'm an avid reader, but when life gets crazy and I can't get absorbed in a novel, I have found these Christian Short Collections to be great. pinkyCanadaAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5A good bookApril 5, 2016pinkyCanadaAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I love reading this type of book, I can get so absorbed into it, that I forget anything else around me. The stories are unique, and well written, I like reading the details of this time era. How they meet the challenge of their trips and made due with what they had, and, there is very little romance details, which makes for a better story.
MaryAnnORAge: 55-65Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5History, Love, and AdventureJune 3, 2015MaryAnnORAge: 55-65Gender: FemaleQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Nine stories of emigrants struggles along the Oregon Trail in the mid-1800s offer readers insights into the life of that era and the dangers they faced. Each novella contains a love story, but I found they focused more on the historical than just the romance, which I prefer. Join these nine authors as they share wagon train tales of adventures and loss, hopes and dreams: Amanda Cabot, Melanie Dobson, Pam Hillman, Myra Johnson, Amy Lillard, DiAnn Mills, Anna Schmidt, Ann Shorey, and Jennifer Uhlarik.
