retired135 Stars Out Of 5Everyone should readNovember 16, 2015retired13Quality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0This book really puts Operation Christmas Child into perspective. It was interesting to read how it actually came about and then to see how God used Franklin Graham and his "contacts" as well as a little "unknown" mountain woman to do His work. I purchased several of these books and loaned them out to our church members and it has really made a difference in their attitude about giving and packing OCC shoeboxes this year.

I was a Relay Coordinator for the first time this past November for OCC. I recommend anyone involved with Operation Christmas Child to read this book. Or anyone else interested in seeing God move through these boxes of treasures which open the door for the Good News to be spread among children and their families.

KarenAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Simple Gifts - Profound LoveNovember 21, 2013KarenAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This is a book of miracles, a book of hope, and a book of love. I was delighted to read of the start of Operation Christmas Child, and how this has grown over the years. Stories of boxes filled and brought by the tractor-trailer load filled me with delight. Descriptions of the "perfect" gifts finding just the right child (and in some cases, adult!) left me in awe of the wonderful, miraculous God who knows each of us! I am blessed to be a shoebox-packer, and to share this love for others with so many others. We are so blessed - and this book is a reminder to share those blessings with those less fortunate. I now have three copies of the book, so I can share them with others.
