very convenient and encouraging. my concern is the heavily works-oriented slant. for instance, she states that stopping for an ice cream cone is surely a distraction from the devil!.this kind of legalism is discouraging to new christians , and has no biblical basis. Jesus did not come to take away our dip-cones.. He came to give us life more abundantly.

I purchased several of these to stick in with other gifts. Great way to get ladies started or to add to their devotional reading. Very nice cover and print.

I really enjoy this small booklet. It encouraging because it takes real life experiences and concerns and relates it in such a way that makes one say, "This is me! This is what I needed to hear today." I have shared this with other women at church. I am do glad I bought several copies to give to other women.

"One Minute Inspirations for Women" by Elizabeth George is a wonderful little book full of God's Truth. This book is perfect for a quick, but meaningful encouragement. It is the perfect size to keep in your purse and pull out on the go. I loved each of the stories- full of truth from the Bible and encouragement. Another bonus was the prayers at the end of each page. There are 58 inspirations, so you can go around more than once and they will seem like new again! I love Elizabeth George's writing and am always so encouraged and convicted from her books. This little treasure was no different!

I purchased about 15 of these One-Minute Inspirations to give out as gifts for my women's group and women I ran into on the streets. They fit nicely in cute gift bags with some candys. The women who received them, definitely enjoyed their special gift. The booklets were inexpensive and great for gift giving.
