Zoe @ Blessed and Bewildered4 Stars Out Of 5snuggle up with your cutie and cocoa and enjoy!December 1, 2017Zoe @ Blessed and BewilderedQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4It is so hard for me to resist a children's book! They are just so colorful and fun. One Christmas Bear is no exception. This board book is cut out along the top and right-hand side making it stand out; add the multi-dimensional front with a glitter-like texture and your child's attention will surely be drawn to One Christmas Bear. I do want to emphasize that the cover has a glitter-like texture. It isn't actually made of glitter, so I don't believe that you need worry if your adorable little one puts the book straight into their mouth. Reinforcing early learning skills, One Christmas Bear is a counting book. As the story moves from 1 - 10 there are more and more adorable rhyming animal antics at Christmastime. There is only one minor Christian reference in the book. The text on the very last page says:
"Little acts of kindness,
our friends and families dear,
Merry time together -
gifts from God to last all year!"
Make yourself and your cutie a cup of Peppermint Stick Cocoa and settle in for a snuggle and a sweet Christmas story.
Hint... if you're running behind on Christmas gifts like I am, the Peppermint Stick Cocoa and a copy of One Christmas Bear would make a fantastic Christmas gift for parents of toddlers. (You can find the recipe by searching for my original blog post at blessed and bewildered).

I had the chance to read and review another fun Christmas book today. One Christmas Bear talks about various animals in a fun, counting style. I think that either one of my baby nephews would enjoy this book.
The pictures in this book are really cute and fun.
Who This Book is For:
This is great for babies through about three years old.
What I liked:
I like the counting style of this book. I think it will help my one-year-old nephew as he starts to talk and eventually learns to count.
The pictures are fun to look at.
I like the sparkly cover and the fun that it adds to the whole book.
What I didn't like:
There is not really anything that I dislike about this book.
Overall, I think that this is a fun book.
I give One Christmas Bear 5 out of 5 stars.

Amanda4 Stars Out Of 5One Christmas Bear by Anne Vittur KennedyOctober 10, 2017AmandaQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4The picture online of the cover of this book does not do it justice. The cover is so vibrant. It has glitter texture and the scarf has some very shiny red areas that just pop off the page. The words are also shiny too. I know when my kids open this book up they will be excited to see what is inside.
It is written and illustrated by Anne Vittur Kennedy. It is a simple Christmas counting book. Every page is a new number starting with one. Every page has a new animal that wants to play. When you reach the end there are nine sets of parents waiting for all the little animals to come home and go to bed. The last page talks about ten happy friends saying goodbye. The very last sentence is "Merry time together - gifts from God to last all year!" This is a very simple Christian book for young children. I would recommend this for younger elementary age and preschool children.
I received this book for free from booklookbloggers.com book review program for my honest review.
