J.C. Ryle wrote: 'The longer I live the more I am convinced that the world needs no new gospel, as some profess to think. I am thoroughly persuaded that the world needs nothing but bold, full, unflinching teaching of the "old paths"'.
In this book Ryle expounds the great themes of the gospel and proves that this is indeed the 'good way' where true 'rest of soul' is to be found.

Ryle books, "Old Paths" is a clarion call for believers to hold to the truths as they are found in the Bible. I would recommend this book to all Christians. I have given this book 5 stars because that's as many as I am allowed to give it. I would give it 10 stars if I could. I will simply close out my review with a quote from J.C. Ryle, which is taken out of the preface. Get this book!
"The longer I live the more I am convinced that the world needs no new gospel, as some profess to think. I am thoroughly persuaded that the world needs nothing but a bold, full, unflinching teaching of the 'old paths.' The heart of man is the same in every age. The spiritual medicine which it requires is always the same."
