R.D. Cole has written a masterpiece. I actually read this commentary from cover to cover. It is interesting and provocative. Cole does an excellent job of tracing the structure of each section and its place within the whole. Theological comments are plentiful and helpful. Alternate viewpoints are fairly presented, and yet Cole's own perspective remains clear. The excursuses are interesting and informative. This is by far the best commentary on Numbers that I have seen.

These commentarys are great. We've already used the volume for Leviticus and look forward to the help as we go through Numbers.
