This is a good translation for anyone who understands, reads, and speaks Haitian Creole. It's not only easy to read and understand, it's clear and bold in its writing. The story of Jesus comes alive--the drama, the conflict, the personalities, and the final denouement when all is lost--and yet, he lives again!

There are a couple of things here and there that puzzle me for word choices or grammar, but I'm still not fully fluent so I chalk it up to the subtleties of a professional linguist/translator who has more cultural and historical understanding than I do. (And I'm nowhere close to competency in that!)

But the things I find puzzling are nothing more than a slight distraction for a new student of the language. I'm confident that a native speaker will find it comfortable to see the clarity of the language as well as the fluidity of the translation. This is not a stiff and formal text! This feels very much like what you'd read and hear in a church or school or home.
