ChristyGender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Great book from a great speakerMay 23, 2018ChristyGender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I heard J. D. Greear speak at a conference last year, and was really impressed with the message he shared. Greear is a great communicator, both in person, and in his new book. This was an enjoyable read, and was really motivating. This book covers how we can have a vibrant faith in God. The first section mentions many classic ideas about God: he is trustworthy, wise, good, and powerful. The middle section focuses mainly on the goodness of God: how we have a God who knows and wants what is best for us. Instead of being tempted to feel that God is not looking out for out best interests, the Bible repeatedly displays the truth that God is very much looking out for our best interests, The book finishes with a section on how to have a passionate, dynamic faith. Highly recommended book!

BillAge: 55-65Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5Challenge your concept of God.April 7, 2018BillAge: 55-65Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This book drives home the fact that God is much greater than our minds can every imagine. If we truly believe that we serve a God with this immense power and who has created everything how can we not be in awe and reverently fear the God we serve? How could we ever doubt a God that has this power? How can we continue to think that we know best compared to this amazing all powerful God? The questions that J.D. Greear asks and answers in this book bring to focus the supremacy of God over mankind and how much greater God is than all nature and man. The Bible states in clearly again and again. How big is God!

Why Your Small God Leads To Big Problems
By J. D. Greear
Do you have a small or a big God? J. D. Greear give information in his book NOT GOD ENOUGH to help you figure out which size God you have. He will show you that a big God is what you need and how that size God is can handle any problems that may come your way. The information he has put in this book will help you in your walk with God and will point out just how large God is. He shares examples of the difference between a small and a big God and how man is the one who has made God small and puts limits on Him. The author reveals how to discover a God who is big enough to handle all your problems, a God of wrath, a loving God, and a God who has a purpose for you on earth. Besides giving the information in an easy to read and easy to understand way, he adds some humor to his writing, while it is quite subtle but adds to the book. We tend to make God in our image instead of us being made in God image, when we do this we are putting limits on God.
J.D. Greear cover all angles and offers thought provoking meaning to scriptures that may not been the way you heard it before. I found this information very helpful and would suggest using this book as a Bible study or discussion group book. The help you find in it is worth an in-depth study.
