I have to admit I did not think I would like this book. After an interesting beginning the book fell a bit flat for a long period but then picked up again. This is not a simple book to read. At times I felt that the author used words unnecessarily in an attempt to make the story longer, kind of like someone taking twenty minutes to tell a five minute story. The story does get quite interesting after awhile and I love the way it ended. My recommendation is that this book is not for everyone. If you are looking for a simple easy to read uncomplicated story then this book is not for you, it is a different twist and I recommend it if you are patient and willing to keep reading through the not so interesting parts. There is one particular issue that might offend many believers.
I absolutely do not recommend this book to anyone. This author is totally unbiblical in her representation of God, the cross of Christ, Christians, and everything that has to do with God. She misuses Scripture constantly...taking it out completely out of context...especially in an attempt to justify sinful behavior or lifestyles lived by what she calls Christians. Christ would have a good time with this book. "Lord, Lord." "I never knew you."
