In this powerful story of redemption and love, a prodigal young woman from the hills of Virginia flees the men who lured her away from a godly upbringing into a life of desperation. Taking on a new identity, Mary Bridget Washburn escapes to the quaint city of Alexandria, Virginia, where her path crosses that of a widowed minister with three young children and daunting problems of his own. Can Mary Bridget and her tainted past stay hidden long enough for her to bring hope to a family falling apart?

ShermaMississauga, CanadaAge: 35-44Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5Not a Sparrow FallsJune 9, 2014ShermaMississauga, CanadaAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4I have to admit I did not think I would like this book. After an interesting beginning the book fell a bit flat for a long period but then picked up again. This is not a simple book to read. At times I felt that the author used words unnecessarily in an attempt to make the story longer, kind of like someone taking twenty minutes to tell a five minute story. The story does get quite interesting after awhile and I love the way it ended. My recommendation is that this book is not for everyone. If you are looking for a simple easy to read uncomplicated story then this book is not for you, it is a different twist and I recommend it if you are patient and willing to keep reading through the not so interesting parts. There is one particular issue that might offend many believers.
DyscypleSaint Albans, WVAge: 35-44Gender: female1 Stars Out Of 5UnbiblicalNovember 12, 2013DyscypleSaint Albans, WVAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 1Value: 1Meets Expectations: 1I absolutely do not recommend this book to anyone. This author is totally unbiblical in her representation of God, the cross of Christ, Christians, and everything that has to do with God. She misuses Scripture constantly...taking it out completely out of context...especially in an attempt to justify sinful behavior or lifestyles lived by what she calls Christians. Christ would have a good time with this book. "Lord, Lord." "I never knew you."
