3 stories, 3 differrent couples, 3 absolutely different settings but 1 God and 1 North Dacota state all together equal in 1 love that blooms in all places at all times in different circumstances and in different people but is one and the same Love that rises above all weeds and troubles of this life to breath happiness into our gloomy life. I enjoyed each story. Even though they are all written by the same author are very different.
Disarming Andi is about high tech computer engineer geek and and a beautiful college dropout construction company owner. I don't want to spoil your read by retelling it so I'm just going to say that it is full of emotional tension, spiritual trust in God, teenager drama computer stuff, stars, military missile exploring and treasure hunt..you will be turning page after page not knowing what will hit you next. I couldn't put it down.
Exposing Amber is about fossil digging, museum director Brandon collides with protege Amber and their worlds seem to blend in one until her brother Michael gets out of prison. This book is filled with evolution contradiction with christianity, age difference problems, boss and intern romance problems. We live in a world that full of contradictions, imagine a contradicting couple..and you have Amber and Brandon trying to not love each other.. :)
Praying for Rayne was my favorite of all three even though I loved them all. Its just that nothing makes me laugh harder then having two men trying to stake their territory on a girl like two roosters fighting for the chicken house.. In some parts it made me laugh with tears. But on a serious side this love story had a lot of prayer going and that meeting with pastor on a crucial moment on Jacks life touched me. It is so good to have pastor that you can trust enough with your problems, the one that will lead you to God and not judge. My pastor was like that to me- like a father listening to a teenager and giving advise without judgement. This means a lot to a teenage girl as well as a troubled man.
I totally enjoyed this stories and feel very blessed having read them. Im recommending this to you hoping they will lift your spirit like they lifted mine and remind you once again that we have God that loves us despite our troubles and sins and is always ready to listen and come to our rescue.
