Publisher's Description

IMMERSE YOURSELF IN THE WONDERS OF THE EARLY EARTH!

Packed with action, adventure, and heartbreak, the second installment of the Remnant Trilogy continues the imaginative and respectful look at the life of this hero of the faith as God shapes him into the man who eventually saves humanity’s future.

As wickedness increases across the land, Noah and his loved ones endure painful consequences of a world bent on evil. King Lamech expands his rule through deception and force, but does his kindness toward Noah hint that things may change?

Noah and Emzara explore their world and their eyes are opened anew to the creative genius of the Most High, yet mankind’s wretchedness threatens to upend their peaceful corner of the world. While tracking down the perpetrator of a malicious crime, they are tested by tragedy and must decide if they will sacrifice everything for truth and justice.

After years of serving God, Noah reaches a crisis of faith due to his mounting frustrations with the proliferation of sin and the apparent silence from the Creator. Thrust into a series of perilous situations, Noah’s deepest convictions are challenged. His response will direct his course and change the world forever.

More than just a novel, Noah: Man of Resolve features non-fiction sections in the back of the book that provide answers to popular questions about the time in which Noah lived and explain where certain characters and events from the book can be seen at the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Kentucky.

Author Bio

Tim Chaffey is a writer and editor with Answers in Genesis. He has spent five years as a pastor and associate pastor, in which he taught youth ministry, adult Sunday School, and a weekly theology class in addition to regular preaching duties. He has also taught high school Bible and science classes for six years. Tim earned a Th.M. in Church History and Theology from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2011, after successfully defending his thesis on "The Sons of God and the Nephilim" (available on Kindle). In 2008, he earned a Master of Divinity degree (summa cum laude) specializing in Apologetics and Theology.

Tim also holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Biblical and Theological Studies. He is the founder and director of Midwest Apologetics, a ministry dedicated to defending the word of God from the beginning to the end. Tim specializes in the creation v. evolution controversy (and the corresponding age of the earth battle). He is especially interested in the theological nature of the debate. This interest led to the publishing of his first book, Old-Earth Creationism on Trial: The Verdict Is In (co-authored with Jason Lisle, Ph.D. in Astrophysics).

Tim is also a cancer survivor. He was diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia in July 2006. He has been in full remission since September 2006. Tim is a popular speaker and often teaches on topics related to apologetics, theology, and worldviews in churches, camps, and schools. He has been a guest on numerous radio programs and speaks regularly at the Creation Museum in Northern Kentucky. Most recently he served as co-editor of the new Demolishing Supposed Bible Contradictions Volume 2 with Ken Ham and Bodie Hodge.

K. MARIE ADAMS has an obsession with words that once resulted in her being grounded for reading too much. Later, it served her well as she worked for many years at a bookstore and as a literature and grammar instructor. Now, as a graphic designer, her love of language goes by the fancy name of "typography." She also volunteers for several ministries dedicated to rescuing young girls from modern-day slavery.
