I feel its an awesome Bible for someone who is just starting out. I have boughtem two cases of this Bible. Love to bless other people/ christians who need and want Gods word.

Our son recently gave us the idea of giving away a Bible to the homeless when we give a McDonald's gift card, which we have been doing for years. The price was right on these Bibles, but i agree with other reviewers that the print really is not that large.

i was desiring NLT's in a large print so the younger primary children in the Sunday School classroom could easily read od's WORD and be able to understand what they would be reading. The Holy Spirit has given upon my heart an earnest desire that the young children learn foundational chapters and verses they could highlight and 'make it their own' for daily remembrance and use. This will work great! THANKS. This will be nearly perfect! I had thought the type not as large as i would have thought and that the color of the paper used. It would have been better to use whiter, brighter shade of white? Truly Thank You for this bargain resource!

I had originally intended to use this in the park when sharing the Gospel with people. It doesn't cost too much to replace if someone destroys it. I can turn the Bible toward them and they can easily find the verse on the page as I read it (upside down) out loud and they follow along. I point at the verse with my finger as I do this. A large print Bible works well for this.

However, this Bible is not even close to being large print in even in loftiest imaginations of whoever created it. The paper, as one might expect, is mass-market paperback quality at best. (That was no surprise.) I had wanted an inexpensive LARGE print Bible that wouldn't be too expensive to replace if it were damaged or destroyed. This is not it.

It's a great deal on a cheap, REGULAR SIZED PRINT Bible, if you don't need a large print Bible.

Perfect for the purpose--county jail library, where only softcover books are allowed, and the price is right for buying multiple copies.
