First things first, I am a huge fan of the NLT. Its my favorite translation of the bible. The sentences are a bit shorter and the grammar is easy to understand. Perfect for working with teens and kids (and adults, too). This bible features the second edition text (2004).
The first thing you will notice about this bible is that it is well huge and heavy. There is so much jammed into this study bible! It features an easy-to-use Topic Guide to every major topic and teaching of the Bible. I can see this as being a great resource to build a sermon series.
By the way, I received this bible FREE from Tyndale Rewards! Worth checking out if you like free bibles.
I got this Bible over 5 years ago. I started going thru the Topical Index which is in outline form. I went thru several topics writing out the verses which each has to support the subject matter. I felt I gained a VERY good understanding of the Bible and who God is. I'd recommend this Bible to anyone wanting to connect better with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Have a blessed day!
Easy to understand NLT Bible, with enlightening notes from Bill Bright.

This is a well made, easy to read, and understand Bible, with notes, and helps from a wonderful man of GOD, Bill Bright. The print is very clear, and easy on the eyes. The imitation leather cover has a nice feel, and the binding is tight. I'm not sure how it will hold up under daily use, as only time will tell. I highly recommend this Bible for daily study, and strengthening of your faith.
May our wonderful LORD bless you in your study of HIS WORD.
I had bought this before in hardback, I didnt like it and gave it away. A house I clean has one of these on a bookshelf, I looked at it, and decided to try it again in this TuTone leather look. This is still a big, heavy Bible; too big and bulky to carry to church. That is its main flaw. As a study Bible, I like it. The print is easy to read, the notes, references, and the guides in the front of the Bible do what they promise, which is to lead you into a deeper understanding of God. The cover is soft, has a nice feel and is easier to use than the hardback version.
