In The One Year Chronological Bible, prophetic books are interwoven with the historical accounts they accompanied. Psalms follow the events about which they were written. Proverbs are placed in the time frame in which they were compiled. The life of Christ is woven into one moving story. And Paul’s letters to the young churches in the first century are integrated into the book of Acts.
The One Year Chronological Bible also features:
- 365 daily readings to help you read the entire Bible chronologically in one year
- Transition statements to help you understand why some Scripture portions appear where they do
- Historical dates indicating when the events actually occurred
- A general timeline of major events to give you a clear overview of Israel’s history
- A Scripture index in canonical order to help you find your favorite passages quickly and easily
- Presentation page
- 9.50" x 6.50" x 1.50"
You do not have to be a Bible historian to appreciate the fascinating new perspective waiting for you in The One Year Chronological Bible. It’s like reading some of your favorite passages again for the very first time.

Leslie5 Stars Out Of 5Chronolgical Order of Bible ReadingFebruary 6, 2017LeslieQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I purchased this Bible because of the chronological order. It is for the purpose of reading through the Bible to
understand the sequence of events, not necessarily for deep study. It has good reading print and I like that there are not notes and other items on the page to distract me. For these reasons, a hardback cover is
sufficient to meet my need. I think this is a great Bible.
Michael Johnson3 Stars Out Of 5Who defined this as large print?December 31, 2015Michael JohnsonQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 2The titles on each section are large enough, but the print is nowhere near large print. It is, at best, except for the titles, ordinary print size. If they classify this as large print I would hate to see their regular print size,
It is well done in all other aspects.
If you don't need glasses I would recommend this one, but not for those needing large print.

wendy5 Stars Out Of 5NLT Chronological BibleFebruary 5, 2015wendyQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This translation & order really helped me so much in my faith, i now get it - the bible IS God's love letter to each of us. By putting the whole bible in time order, i could connect all the pearls of wisdom and see the incredible grace, mercy and guidance God has shown mankind from the very beginning of time . It has always been man pulling away, hurting God and the loving relationship He has created each of us for with Him and with each other.
I was able to read it like a book, sometimes things are repeated but they are together which helped me see how often OT supports NT and visa versa. I kept notes during the first few months to keep track of all the names and tribes, this really helped me see how the promises and warnings played out in the family lines. As a parent, I could see how important correcting and developing a respectful relationship parent to child impacted the adult child later in life in many family stories in the bible.
I thought it would take a year or more, but many days days just kept reading since it kept unfolding the stories of the bible in a new way for me. it is the best gift I gave myself, and have re-read it and love it even more. I have given many as gifts, those that actually read it found the same WOW and secure peace that soaking up God's word brings. Now when reading the bible or listening to others I am more confident so when phrases get twisted and folks make God out to be mean or unfair - I know for a fact it is way out of context. Let's look at that together, and find out why that would have happened.....
Ask a Question▼▲
Q: Is this the whole complete Bible, or just selected portions? I am wondering if this is the whole complete Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, every chapter and every verse? I know some one year Bibles are just selected portions of it.
This is the complete Old and New Testaments.
Q: sewn or glued? Are the hardcover editions Smyth-sewn? My eyes need to focus at a fixed distance so I have trouble reading Bibles where the text curve into the center "gutter". Thanks!
This Bible appears to have a glued binding, but does lay flat when open.
