I am currently doing a year-long Bible reading plan and had been using a previous version of this same Bible. Then I received the latest edition and have been enjoying the new features which include topical sections highlighted in green that include numerous character bios as well as spiritual themes and what one can learn from a particular book. I love the application notes at the bottom of each page and how they are so relevant, useful and easy to understand. The master index, a 365 day reading plan, concordance, index of maps and the maps themselves are so useful and helpful. I wish the font were a little larger, both for the text and the page notes, but I understand why it needs to be smaller. If you are looking for a Bible that is not only easy to understand but is chock full of insightful and practical resources, I highly recommend this NLT Life Application Study Bible!

This is an awesome Bible and easy to understand. Also, it had a great price.

I bought this Study Bible for the additional study notes. It's great to get that extra info as I read and explore God's Word.

It's a little heavy so if you like taking your Bible to church, this may not be the one for that. But I really recommend this study Bible to dig deeper.
