Josh PhelpsBerea, KyAge: 35-44Gender: male4 Stars Out Of 5NKJV Teen Study Bible Book ReviewSeptember 24, 2016Josh PhelpsBerea, KyAge: 35-44Gender: maleQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 5With all the work I do with teens through out the summer when the NKJV Teen Study Bible came up for review I decided to try it out. I have to say that I really like this study bible.
There are many features that will help teens as they study the word of God. There are We Believe, Panorama, and Instant access to name a few of them.
The We Believe section helps to layout the foundation of what we believe, and why we belive it. The Panorama section helps to show the big picture of each of the books in the bible. There is a section called To the Point that helps you navigate the scriptures for the situations you are in. There is even a question and answer trivia section that you can use to test yourself or in a youth group setting.
This bible will be one that you use as a teen and eventually grow out of it as you grow in the Lord. I wouldnt recommend this for someone that is older than his or her teen years. This bible is written to reach those in their teens. I would definitely recommend this bible to any of the teens I know.
Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from the publisher through the BookLook Bloggers http://booklookbloggers.com book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

This bible is designed for students aged 13-16, but those ranges can be extended upward and downward depending on the teen you might have in mind. Regardless, this is a great bible.
According to the publisher, its features include:
We Believe: Unpacks the Apostles Creed to reveal the biblical foundation of faith
Panorama: Keeps the big picture of each book of the Bible in view

To the Point: Reveals what the Bible says about pressing issues

So, as you can plainly see there are a lot of different features included. Not just study notes, not just devotional material. I especially like the Dear Jordan sections which tackle difficult situations from biblical stances.
I have studied the Apostles Creed in a fashion similar to how this bible unpacks it. This means each section of the Creed is addressed from its biblical roots. The phrases of the Creed are pointed out in the Scriptures, and the reader is able to work through the entire Creed to find the biblical reason why the early fathers of the church agreed upon these important issues.
Another great section included are the Bible Promises. There are any number of promise books on the market, but it is nice to have these highlighted in the text rather than having a separate book. Also, the helps to dig deeper in study are great as well.
All in all, I think this is a great bible for the target audience. It would be great for new believers also, but the Dear Jordan sections would probably not be applicable because of the target age group life questions being for younger adults/teens. The rest of the helps though are great for any readers I believe. Another great all around study bible from Zondervan.
Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book from BookLook Bloggers for review purposes in exchange for a fair and honest review of the material contained. A positive review was not required and all thoughts on the book are my own.
