Ruth5 Stars Out Of 5Worth 10 Stars!September 19, 2018RuthQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Large print, 114 articles on basic Christian doctrine, explanations of Bible terms like propitiation, justification, grace, sin, etc. Incredibly helpful for those unfamiliar with the Bible. A word for word translation that is understandable. My bonded leather edition is soft and beautiful and will last for years.
The only things that would make it better would be 2 inch wide margins and a weight of 3 pounds, but you can't have everything! Lol
El5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent BibleAugust 19, 2018ElQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Love, Love, Love this Bible ! I wish I had found this one years ago. I love everything about it. It has brought encouragement to my heart to continue to study and dig deeper into God's word even more. I've always been a KJV person, but now I like the NKJV even better. It's a keeper for me ! Thank You
TedC3 Stars Out Of 5Good but too thickJanuary 24, 2018TedCQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0I have been looking for a large print study Bible over the past year with frustration. The Bible is a good Bible. I have spent substantial time with this Bible (friends and store Bibles), and similar Bibles. The Bible is the best of them, but it is still too thick. It is 2.25 inches thick. Once you hold this Bible, and Bibles of similar thickness, you will understand how awkward this Bible is to use and carry.
A study Bible is nice, but often companies put notes in the Bible that people do not need. Companies could reduce the number of study notes. I would love to see a similar Bible with a thickness of approx. 1.75 inches.
Going to a Personal Size Bible is not usually a good choice since the print size become too small in those Bibles. I like the prints size in this Bible. I also need the print to be dark enough for clear viewing. I just cannot understand how we cannot get a more moderate size. We find Bibles that are too thick, and Bibles that are thin with print that is too small. I want a publisher to find the 'just right" spot.
carol3 Stars Out Of 5somewhat disappointedJune 4, 2016carolQuality: 3Value: 3Meets Expectations: 2for large print, the verse numbers are small and very light. when reading in community I can't see the numbers. brown letters are hard to read, and study notes too small, need magnifier.
