I purchased this Bible as a gift for myself. The font was too small, so I gifted it and I'm getting the Large Print. It's beautiful. I think the quality is good. I'm not sure about all the complaints about the paper and print, but my copy was perfect. Just be aware, it is very, very small print.

I purchased this for myself, but am thinking it needs to be a gift - so beautiful. The verses are a grand way to start the day as I open the pages - they jump out at me and end up being the scriptures I meditate on for the day. A Bible with color and "pictures" - just right for us who are still growing in the Lord.

I bought this as a christmas gift for myself and my mother. For a journaling bible, the paper is extremely thin. When you turn the pages it wrinkles and writing is horrible. I used colored pencils and every indentation was visible on the next page!! Tried multiple writing utensils and everything was visible on the next page. The print is very small as well, which allows it to be a smaller bible. I fear turning a page let alone writing on it. For a journaling bible, it could be better quality. very disappointed.

I spent a lot of time looking at Bibles with wide margins in various versions and finally chose this one. Some had the font too small, and most of them are plain, and since I can't draw and write artistically, it's nice to have some of the pages done for you. I have been using this a few days and I am able to still write notes in the margins that have the art work, so the art work does not keep me from doing notes . The margins in my inductive study Bible were not wide enough, I discovered.

I do not think the paper is too thin as another reviewer said. I am using Pigma 005 pens to write in it and soft gel highlighters to underline and highlight and so far, all is well.

The art work is delightful and the cover is super gorgeous! I have 2 illustrated study Bibles (a NKJV and Holman Christian Standard) but there is no room in the margins. I enjoy having something visually beautiful as well as the ability to write my notes -- so I get the best of both worlds. A Win-win.
