I purchased two copies of this book. Both of these books arrived in excellent shape in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to purchase from this company again. Having just recently received this book, I have not had an opportunity to delve into the book's content. I look forward to more fully exploring the Jewish history of the Christian faith.

It offers a good entry into the said field. Frequently the notes are enlightening and perceptive, leading one to follow parallels that may not have been at first apparent. For example, Leviticus 16.30 offers a snapshot of Jewish rabbinical debate. Sadly, the NIV has opted for the reading that precludes the other. But that's a small point. The layout, production and the notes all offer a sincere glimpse into the traditional non-christian view of historical interpretation of the scriptures.
