I lead a Jr. High boys Bible study. The boys strongly recommend this Bible to new members of our group. It must be the extra features/articles that bring the Bible into their world. What I do know is that most of the guys with this Bible actually read it and highlight text as they go. The pricing at Christianbook.com makes it more affordable than the book store price.

I bought this for my teenage son. He and I both are very pleased with this bible. I love all the extras: battlelines, 50 passages that show God is a revolution God, 50 ways to be a better friend, 60 things real men don't do, etc (too many to list). I REALLY wish they had bibles like this when I was young(er).

*I received a copy of this bible in exchange for my honest review.The teenage years can be hard for any young person, so giving them their own special Bible filled with special passages and notes is a wonderful thing. The NIV Revolution Bible gives teen guys the chance to help find Gods plan for their life and discover Gods truth on various topics. I think this is a great thing to be included in any Bible, especially one meant for young teen guys. By teenage years most young guys are already facing these two questions, so what better guide for them to look at than the Bible.

Besides answering some of the biggest life questions, this Bible has many more great features like; in-depth book introductions and 12-full colored pages that show life-impacting ideas. While I sometimes dislike extra stuff inside of the Bible, I do feel the things added in this Bible were perfect for the intended age group and those who may be reading it.

The NIV Revolution Bible is written in the easier to read New International Version which is also a plus for this Bible because it is one of my more favorite Bible versions.

Here is a study bible which is stated to be aimed at teenage boys. With that in mind, I can say I believe they have done a great job. This bible is very contemporary in it design and quite attractive in its presentation. It is loaded with features and with great study features.

Each of the features is thought provoking and well developed. I believe this study bible would be great for any young man you might be looking to buy a bible. The articles are slanted toward males, so I wouldn't recommend it for young females, but there would be applicable information if you chose to give it to a young woman.

It is a great Bible for my teen son. He is more interested in reading it than a regular Bible. I love the cover and the features and articles. I wanted a Bible to engage my teen son and I love it.
