Years ago I bought an earlier edition of the NIV Rainbow Study Bible at Sam's Club. I loved it then because it pointed out in a colorful manner the changing themes in the text. However, the binding was never quite right, and I always thought that the first few pages were literally hanging by a thread and would simply come out one day. So I bought a new edition of the Rainbow Study Bible. The binding is fine in this edition; I like the soft imitation leather binding better than the bonded leather of my old edition. In the old edition, there was a bookmark explaining the meaning of the colors; in the new edition, the colors are explained at the bottom of each page making for more convenient explanation of the colors. Realizing I will upset some purists, I even like the new NIV translation better than the old one. All in all, this is an improvement over the old edition. I would recommend the Rainbow Study Bible to anyone. It will improve ones comprehension of the scriptures.

Love this bible! While it is not listed as large print it is larger and darker print than any of my other bibles. Love,love the color coding, maps and intro to each section. definitely my new favorite! May give my other bibles away to friends that like them.

but the problem is that the pages stick together

I had to unstuck it by manual hand.

I still love this anyway. will keep this for myself.

I bought this bible, because it was recommended by my sister and I am very happy I did. It is easy to read and I absolutely love the color coding system this bible provides--I can easily find a verse!
