Mike R.5 Stars Out Of 5Very Happy with this Bible!September 28, 2017Mike R.Quality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I have recently purchased this Bible, and I am very happy with it! I am a pastor and Bible teacher, so I study the Bible daily. This version is very helpful, as it provides great historical and cultural context throughout each book, and there are also many outlines, brilliant pictures and teaching helps on just about every page! Because this is a chronological Bible, it's not one that I carry to teach from, but it is invaluable in my study and message preparation. I love the cover and the feel of the Bible. I have had no problems with the overall quality, but the pages in mine were stuck together a little bit when it was brand new. I was able to separate them without damaging them, but I would imagine that sticky pages are probably something you should expect to deal with at the beginning with this Bible. Apart from that, I have no complaints, and I look forward to many more years of study and enjoyment with this Bible. I hope you will, as well!

Dee Dee Sue5 Stars Out Of 5Fabulous StudyApril 4, 2017Dee Dee SueQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0I love the soft leather cover. The print is small but still comfortably readable. I am so thankful for the guide in the back for where to find certain chapters. It is like reading a novel instead of studying the Bible. It is so helpful with my Sunday School lesson.
jabh4231 Stars Out Of 5Chronological Study BibleMarch 16, 2017jabh423Quality: 4Value: 1Meets Expectations: 1I was super excited with the reviews and the fact I got this Bible on a half price sale! I dove right in and have almost completed it in only 4 months, however I feel like I would be done a lot sooner if I wasn't constantly re-reading what I've already read. For instance Moses died 4 times. It's like they tried to do Chronological but then decided to put it in order the original order too, how Moses died 4 times I don't get it... several prophets died several times too. And Kings and others... you get the picture.
Now I'm in the new testament and they put back to back a paragraph from each Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. So basically instead of reading one book then another, you're reading almost identical stories 4 times in a row, sometimes the paragraph is a whole page, sometimes 4-5 sentences. Then re-read again and again... It makes it hard to follow and understand. There's also a lot of information that I wouldn't miss if it weren't there. I just want to study and learn about Jesus and God, not find out all the pagen holidays, dieties, rituals etc. I do not care for this Bible at all. Now I'm thinking $45 was outrageous for this book. Does anyone want mine?
