as an older adult I would recommend the large print even though it is a larger size book to carry. The extra information given about chapters, verses really helps one to see the overall context of the passage. A great asset to studying the Bible.
I love this study bible this is my go to study bible for my school and everything. I love the size it isn't to bad. Their is two thing is did not like about it though that why i put 4 starts. 1. The cover is paper and it gets damaged, folded, and torn so easy but yet i paid less to because this was what at could afford at that time. There is however a hardcover choice to chose from and i would recommend you get the Hardcover especially if you have kids or super busy. 2. The letters are so small, they hurt my eyes. i am only 22 and wear glasses and with or without glasses my eyes hurt after reading for a bit. but i never knew there was a larger print or i would have opted for that one. but like i said this is what i was able to afford at that time. So if you really want a good study bible that will last you i would recommend this one but as a hardcover or other material that will last. in my school i had an assignment "evaluating your personal Study Bible" and i thought mines didn't have enough information but in this assignment i had to answer a series of question and find the answers in my study bible and to my surprise this study Bible answered almost all the question. this goes to say that this is a very very good study Bible highly recommended but in a better material for the cover
I really love this Bible, except the pages are so thin it is hard to read and you can't make any notes. The print and anything you write will show through the other side of the page making that side very hard to read.
