Old Testament Word Studies is the result of tremendous labor invested in it during many years. It was written for the purpose of illustrating the precise meaning of Hebrew words. It serves as a reference-manual when more time cannot be spent for further investigation. The force of an English word cannot totally be depended upon for giving a correct and precise meaning in the explanation of Scripture. This new edition of Wilson's OT Word Studies features all Hebrew words coded to both Strongs Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible and the TWOT. These additions open up many paths to further discovery for the English reader. By consulting other works sharing these numbering systems, the reader can enjoy additional depths of insight concerning the original language of our OT Scripture. For the benefit of the reader, both columns of numbers have been placed immediately to the left of each Hebrew word. The left column refers to the TWOT numbering systems and is headed at the top of every column with a "T". The right column refers to the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, and is headed at the top of the column with an "S". The two columns are separated by a small space. Multiple numbers referring to the same word are placed consecutively to the right of and immediately below the first number listed. These are joined together with a comma.
