I purchased this atlas to use with the home school curriculum Mysteries of History Ancient Civilizations. It was not what I was hoping for at all. The maps are not in color. They are two colors - a very bright teal and gray. The combination if very hard to read. The text on each page is small print and packed on the page. No charts or graphs, just very long, tiny printed, paragraphs of information. Needless to say, it will not work for my 6th grade son at all. Possibly as a college text, it would have some benefit. It just seems to be a very poor presentation of the information that it contains.
