Katie Fisher is ecstatic. Pro basketball star Brady James has proposed, and she can't wait to start planning their life together. She's confident she'll make it down the aisle this time--but it still may be easier said than done. A high-society Houston bride has Katie and the Cosmopolitan Bridal team scrambling to get the perfect dress done in time for her spectacular wedding. Meanwhile, Katie finds herself bombarded with everyone's competing visions regarding her own special day--and she's beginning to worry that her own ideas will get lost in the crossfire. Will she ever manage to settle all of the details for her perfect day? Or will bridal shop chaos and overzealous friends and family make a mess of everything?
Fan favorite Janice Thompson gives readers what they've been clamoring for: another funny, romantic romp with a Texas twang.
CozyWriter'sDen4 Stars Out Of 5SweetNovember 17, 2016CozyWriter'sDenQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4I believe this is probably the last book in the series, Brides With Style, which I am sad to say. This trilogy has brought me many laughs. I love Katie's extremely quirky family (especially her crazy grandma and eccentric aunt!), the ridiculously cute town of Fairfield and all the colourful characters and churches there, Katie's half dozen brothers and their crazy love lives, and the wacky brides that visit the bridal shop where she works.
I also really appreciated how this book touches on the rather sensitive topic of weddings. Having personally experienced trying to plan a wedding with some rather mind-boggling and overwhelming opinions from the inlaws, I really related to Katie's dilemma. Weddings are supposed to be the bride's day, but it seems that so many girls get completely trampled over by their own families or their husband-to-be's families and they end up being stressed out, miserable, and paying for a wedding that isn't even what they wanted in the first place. I know so many girls this has happened to. I think every parent who is having a son or daughter get married should read this book because in a cute, silly way to highlight the very real anxiety and trouble families place on brides.
This was a great book. Really enjoyed it and I am rather hoping there is one more book in the series so that I can read more of the crazy adventures of the Fairfield Folk ... gotta love the crazy grandma!

From the back cover: Katies determined to make it down the aisle this timebut it may be easier said than done
Katie Fisher is ecstatic. Pro basketball star Brady James has proposed, and she cant wait to start planning their life together. But its hard to focus on her own happily ever after when her calendar is filling up with celebrations for friends and family. Beyond that, it seems everyone around her has an opinionand a strong one at thaton what Katies special day should look like. Will she ever manage to settle all of the details for her storybook wedding? Or will her overzealous friends and relations make a mess of everything?
If you didnt read the first two books in this series I think you will be able to make it through this story but I feel that you are doing yourself a disservice not reading them because the stories are a lot of fun and they do prepare you for what will be happening here. Get ready this is romantic comedy at its best. All the characters are likable and Ms. Thompson has a way of bringing you into the story and making Katie and Bradys lives very real. This book is all about family, romance and weddings. I think you will recognize some of the supporting characters from real people in your own life. I think that is what makes it so much fun and interesting. This is a very enjoyable read and I recommend it highly.

I am a huge fan of Janice Thompson and always love her characters and the life events we get to witness through their stories. Katie and the gang at Cosmopolitan Bridal are no exception. I will not go into details, but I felt we had closure for each of the characters in this series (but I would be thrilled to see a spin-off or two) and loved where each person landed in life. I will miss these characters and hope to see them reappear in future series from Janice. *I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review*
Booklover105 Stars Out Of 5Perfect book for summerJune 25, 2016Booklover10Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Janice Thompson won me over after reading her Bella series a few years ago. I loved all of the characters from the start and couldn't help but feel as if I was on the wedding journey with each of the characters. I wouldn't say these books were unpredictable, because I tend to know what will happen in most instances. However, that doesn't take away from the joy in reading these stories. I think one reason I really enjoy them is that there is a mixture of humor and romance, with nothing too sappy filling the pages. The characters are all memorable and I never have to go back to the book before to remind myself what happened. The absolute favorite thing of mine about the books that Janice Thompson writes is that the characters all carry over in different ways throughout the different series she has written. This series brings up the ladies from Fairfield and a few familiar faces from the previous series. I love that about her books. I never have to say goodbye to the characters for too long because they usually get included in some small snippet, at least.
Every Bride Has Her Day focuses on Katie and Brady now that they are engaged and planning a wedding. I say that there aren't too many surprises in this book, but I was actually very surprised at the amount of weddings that took place. I was also surprised at the thing that happened that had a huge potential to derail Katie's entire wedding. I had to laugh because it was definitely a lot of drama.
Katie's aunt and grandma are some of my favorite characters because their personalities are so big. I loved how their stories all ended up. It was a sweet wrap-up to the series. I'm hoping that she decides to write more about Brady and Katie since they have some huge life changes happening. That'd make for an interesting story!
