KavRCanadaGender: female5 Stars Out Of 5A compulsive read from start to finishApril 9, 2018KavRCanadaGender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 0What a truly unique conclusion to the Nikki Boyd series! Or you might consider Vanishing Point the first book not the fourth since Harris takes us back to the beginning of the Angel Abductor's killing spree so this is definitely one you can read without having read any of the other books. This is a gripping look at the meticulous work that goes into crime solving. And it's realistic. The story spans a decade as the agents play a game of cat-and-mouse with their mysterious killer.
And that means the romance spans a decade as well! It never seems to be the right time or place for Jordan and Garrett to pursue a relationship. Not that the chemistry isn't right or feelings don't run deep. It's more about the two of them thinking the past should remain in the past and that dueling careers would make it impossible to settle down together. I seriously wanted to bash some heads together. Kidnap them and lock them in a closet until they sorted things out. Ten years, people! Ten years of longing and wondering and secretly loving but not admitting to it. Honestly, my poor romantical heart was wrung out by the end. But, oh my, was it ever worth it!!!!
As Jordon and Garrett struggle to stop a serial killer they wrestle with the age old question of how God can allow such awful things to happen. I appreciated the recurring theme of finding God in the hard places -- making spiritual sense amidst the senseless. Harris doesn't provide any pat answers, just the hope in a future with God to see us through.
And a special shout out for a diverse cast of characters. Especially appreciate Jordan's African American/Brazilian heritage. I've been looking for a more realistic world view in my Christian fiction for a long time so I'm thrilled that publishers are finally delivering.
The kind of romantic suspense that keeps you on your toes right to the very last page. A compulsive read from start to finish.

I have thoroughly enjoyed Lisa Harriss Nikki Boyd Files series. And Wow was Vanishing Point an awesome ending to the series. Throughout the series, Nikkis main focus was in trying to find what happened to her sister Sarah, and in Vanishing point, we finally find out the answer to what happens to Sarah. And you will not find that out in my review, and hopefully no one else reveals is in their review.
Lisa Harris has an incredible way of writing Christian Suspense stories that will keep you up at night with their horrified, shockingly, scary, but yet romantic tales that will stay with you for a long while after you read the book. And when I say horrified, its not a horror book, its just the way you feel where reading some of the scenes, and I love, love it!! And I love that throughout the story Ms. Harris weaves the Christian life into her characters. And tries to answer the questions ask in situations that was in the book. The book deals with children who have lost their lives because of horrible people, and the questions like how do parents and families go on living, or why didnt God stop what was happening, because we know he can. And I think the characters played their parts so well throughout the entire book. What a series of characters that were very well created and loved (well most of them). If you love suspense/thrillers, and a good clean book, this one is a must. In fact the entire series is a must. They are all awesome!
I received this book from Revell Publishers to read and review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Com
PatsdreamHuntsville, ALAge: Over 65Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5Outstanding Christian romantic suspenseJanuary 7, 2018PatsdreamHuntsville, ALAge: Over 65Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Lisa Harris has another winner. Vanishing Point has twists and the plot is fast paced. While there is romance the suspense is outstanding. Missing girls (teenagers) are missing. TBI (Tennennesse Bureau of Investigation) agent and an FBI agent are part of a group of agents trying to find the girls. I don't want to ruin the plot except to say I loved this book and had a hard time putting it down. Lisa Harris always captures your attention right away, keeps the action and suspense all throughout the book. Her characters have flaws but they also have redeeming qualities and faith is shown through the book but in a way that only makes the characters stronger.
I preordered this book and no one asked me to leave a review. I will always leave reviews on books that I think are outstanding. After I read my first book by Lisa Harris I added her to my "favorite author" list. I've never been disappointed in anything that I've read by this outstanding author. Not only do I recommend this book but I recommend anything by Lisa Harris.
