Series: Serena Jones Mysteries
When a valuable Salvador Dali painting belonging to her grandmother's friend is mysteriously replaced by a forgery, FBI Special Agent Serena Jones is called in to investigate. Serena hopes finding the thief will also mean finally measuring up to Nana's expectations. But when the evidence points to members of the owner's own household, it becomes increasingly clear that Serena won't be winning any popularity contests.
The Dali isn't the only painting that's fallen prey to the forgery-replacing thief, raising the specter of a sophisticated theft ring--one with links to dirty cops, an aspiring young artist, and the unsolved murder of Serena's grandfather.
With plenty of edge-of-your-seat moments, Another Day, Another Dali gives the plucky Serena Jones--and readers--a new high-stakes case to crack.

Special Agent Serena Jones serves on the FBI Art Crime team. However, a surprising amount of her work originates from her family's connections in the city. As a favor to her grandmother, Serena delves into the mystery of her neighbor's missing Dali painting and the forgery that was left behind. She soon discovers that the case coincides with other forgeries throughout the area, as well as the investigation surrounding her grandfathers murder years before. Facing an increasing number of suspicious threats on her life, Serena must quickly crack the case before more art and lives are lost.
Ms. Orchard offers a riveting mystery filled with spunky characters and high-action investigations. Another Day, Another Dali will delight readers of great Christian fiction, especially in the mystery/suspense genre.
Overall, I really enjoyed reading Another Day, Another Dali. Although I have not (yet) read the first book in Ms. Orchard's Serena Jones Mystery series (A Fool and His Monet), Another Day, Another Dali was incredibly accessible and easy to follow. While some mystery and suspense novels can seem overly dark, even among those released by Christian publishers, this novel remained very light and enjoyable to read. Likewise, many of the characters offered a fun and quirky contrast to the high-stakes action of Serenas FBI investigation. Ms. Orchards style reminded me of Rene Gutteridge's highly-entertaining Occupational Hazards series, while integrating great references to the world of art crimes and the FBI. After reading this novel, I am looking forward to tracking down the first book of the series, as well as finding the third novel in the series (Over Maya Dead Body) when it releases in July 2017.

The plotline of Serena's murdered grandfather continues in this book.
I love the cast of characters in this book. Many of them are the same as in book one. There are a lot of different quirks and personalities among them. It is fascinating to see how Serena interacts with each of them and tries to keep a balance between her profession and dealing with family.
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing how Aunt Martha "helps" Serena throughout the book. She is so enthralled with mysteries and trying to solve them herself that she is a riot. Yet at times she does have some good ideas.
The plot for the separate mystery in this book is wonderful. I was hooked and knew that I had to finish the story to find out how it turned out from early on. There are enough different suspects to confuse things nicely.
There is a second ongoing story from book one that is very amusing. I can't wait to see if either Tanner or Nate will end up being a romantic interest for Serena. She keeps insisting that they are both "just" friends.
I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in the next book.

As her investigation continues she finds more to this crime, she finds that there may be links to her grandfathers murder. Could it be someone in her family or a friend? The story leads down a path that will keep you guessing along with could this be a planned theft from a group?
I would recommend this book to any age and anyone that likes a light suspenseful read. It will keep you reading as it has a storyline that has an interesting twist. This is a read that would be great for a relaxing afternoon when you want a good mystery.

Yvette K.5 Stars Out Of 5Aunt Martha returns in this fun second outingJanuary 2, 2017Yvette K.Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This follow up to the first Serena Jones Mystery, A Fool and His Monet, continues with the same light and breezy writing style that somehow seamlessly moves into action scenes with impact. Told in first person, the new mystery is a bit convoluted at first, but as multiple situations occur it is as interesting and intriguing as expected.
Serena Jones Mysteries are fast-paced stories with a good dose of danger, a hint of romance, and just the right amount of humor. This second outing was just as fun as the first, and I'm looking forward to this series continuing with Over Maya Dead Body later this year.
Recommended if you enjoy light mystery, clean romance, and a fun narrator. It might not be 100% necessary to read them in order, but doing so would be my preference and will likely increase the readers enjoyment.

Inkwell Reviews4 Stars Out Of 5Review From inkwellreviews.comJanuary 1, 2017Inkwell ReviewsQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Serena Jones is at it again, solving crime, finding art and keeping her aunt Martha out of trouble. This book is exactly like the cover, its quirky, its fun and has a clever plot. On top of that it has a boatload of funny adventure. If you havent already guessed it, it isnt the most realistic. Most of the things she does has you scratching your head and thinking an FBI agent would never do that. I would not label this book as suspense, rather mystery; which is fine with me, there are plenty of suspense books out there to choose from. The quirky characters really make this book complete. Yet, at some times, it is a bit difficult to follow. Ive never been a fan of love triangles, so when it comes to Nate and Tanner I wish Serena would just make up her mind. The problem I have with this book is the lack of detail. Sometimes I got really lost. For instance, I got through half a chapter before I realized that she is actually driving her car and Aunt Martha is with her. Of course, that is probably my fault but still, it isnt very clear.
I really enjoyed reading it and would recommend it. This book is very similar to the first one, A Fool and His Monet. If you liked that one, then you will enjoy reading Another Day Another Dali.
