This makes the Thats Nat! series perfect for young readers just ready for chapter books. What Makes Natalies Day Wonderful? Natalie wants to do something no one else has done. But everything she tries goes wrong. Theres the egg wreck and the purple wallpaper mess. Through it all, Nat discovers something truly wonderful.

Mary2 Stars Out Of 5character doesn't match the reader's age levelJanuary 5, 2015MaryQuality: 3Value: 5Meets Expectations: 2I'm not sure why the author wrote her books with a main character of a Kindergartner. I purchased these for my for K twins, but they are just learning to read picture books, and this type of book is too advanced for them. (Although many K's are reading, I don't know of any reading chapter books.) I do have an older daughter reading chapter books, but she isn't interested in books written about a Kindergartner girl, because that seems too young for her. It would have been nice to have the character be 6 or 7, matching the reading level of the books.

She was in 1st grade and just learning how to read. I had wanted to get her some Christian books that she could start reading and these were perfect! They are beginning chapter books that include good Christian virtues but are written from a little girls perspective. I could not have asked for a more perfect gift! These books truly apply the Bible to real life situations. I would recommend these books to anyone looking for a positive, Christian easy-reader book.
