RaulPuerto RicoAge: 45-54Gender: male4 Stars Out Of 5Worth Having.August 24, 2015RaulPuerto RicoAge: 45-54Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I normally use the KJV but this was a welcome to my library. It sounds good and you can read along as you listen. I recommend this product since it makes it easy to study the Bible.
WarmFuzzyCanadaAge: 25-34Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5Well done! Simple to use and of high production qualityDecember 5, 2014WarmFuzzyCanadaAge: 25-34Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5If you like to learn using audio and video at the same time then this is for you. Each verse section is printed on the screen at the same time that the audio for that verse is dubbed over. I would recommend this to anyone, and what a great price for a treasure like this!
RickSalem ORAge: 55-65Gender: male4 Stars Out Of 5good to hear someone pronounce difficult names.November 16, 2012RickSalem ORAge: 55-65Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4The NASB video Bible is very good. I do wish they had included some quiet background music as sometimes I get sleepy listening to the quiet voice alone. It helps to hear someone pronounce names that are difficult for me to say.
SaraMNAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5I love this bible on DVDMarch 30, 2012SaraMNAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I can read it and hear the words at the same time so I can learn how to pronounce the names or places in the bible. This Bible DVD was the NASB version. I have a NIV bible and my dad told me he loves his NAS bible so I decided I would get the NASB dvd. I had a KJV bible on dvd which was like shakespear for me. So I wanted something a little simpler. I like the trivial game that they have on the bonus DVD. You can play with up to four people. It was fun. I love watching this DVD. I don't read that fast because I always get destracted so it helps me read alot quicker and learn pronounciations of names and places. I didn't like a part in Genisis though, they gave just a little to much detail, with lot and his daughters. If you have read that story. but the rest of it wasn't like that. It worked great in my dvd player. It was a good product.
JoyfulAge: 35-444 Stars Out Of 5Too Deep of a Narrator VoiceFebruary 23, 2012JoyfulAge: 35-44Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 3The voice is almost too deep. You really have to stop and listen hard to get what he's saying. It helps that the written text is on screen, but just to have on in the background isn't working as I had hoped.
Q: Is this a simple re-packaging of an older product, or is there a fundamental difference in the on-screen display format of text, for example? I was notified by email today that this product is now available for shipment. As of 9/15/11, there is yet very little detailed information shown on the product web page. I realize that there has been little time yet to update the product page to give details. I need to know the specific differences between this product and the earlier product that I already own (ISBN: 978-1-60362-072-7). Thank you very much.
Yes, this is a repackaging of material from previous editions. There seems to be some cosmetic updates to the display that is shown on the DVD, but the text, audio and other features have not been changed.
